Which subscription plans include Claude Animation?
Claude Motion is in beta on Team and Enterprise. Team plans get it enabled by default; Enterprise keeps it off until an owner turns it on under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Can Claude Animation produce realistic video footage?
No. It never relies on a video generation model, so lifelike people and footage are out of scope — what you get is code-driven animation of the text, charts, shapes and images already in your material.
Can a single detail be changed without rebuilding everything?
Yes. Since the piece is code, you can ask Claude in chat to alter a word, a figure or the timing — or do it in the editor — and the rest stays untouched.
How do I export or share the finished animation?
Pick Export and choose MP4 to download it. Animations stay private to you by default; press Share on an open animation to send it to others.
Do animations count against my usage limits?
They do — each one counts toward your plan's usage limits like any other work in Claude, and longer or more complex builds consume more of that allowance than a normal message.
What must admins enable before anyone can use it?
Owners or Primary Owners first enable cloud code execution and file creation under Organization settings > Capabilities, then turn on Artifacts and the Motion template under Organization settings > Artifacts. Disabling a template leaves artifacts already built with it untouched.
