claudemotion Builds Motion Graphics as Code, Not Filmed Footage
Every clip is assembled from code, which is how claudemotion keeps words, numbers, charts and pictures moving in step like a short film.
- Animations Assembled in CodeEach claudemotion clip exists as a motion-template artifact, so text, figures, charts and stills can be choreographed to move together.
- Not a Footage Generatorclaudemotion runs no video-generation model at all — what you get is kinetic type, charts, shapes and images, never photoreal people or scenes.
- Single Edits Stay SingleAdjust one word, one number or one timing beat and the rest of the timeline is left untouched — nothing else has to be rebuilt.
From Prompt to MP4 with claudemotion
Three short steps stand between a rough idea and a downloadable file.
Inside claudemotion: The Capabilities That Matter
Prompts grounded in your files, chat-driven revisions, hands-on editor control and admin switches — the practical side of claudemotion.
Built From Your Own Files
Attach the report, dataset or image set you want claudemotion to work from, and say who the audience is, which screen it plays on and roughly how long it should run.
Revise in Plain Chat
The chat box doubles as an edit panel: ask for a slower second scene or a corrected Q3 figure, and claudemotion hands back the updated clip.
Or Take the Controls Yourself
Hands-on people can adjust the animation straight in the editor rather than describing every change in words.
Saved Alongside Your Work
Finished claudemotion clips land in the Artifacts tab, right next to your decks, documents and dashboards, so nothing disappears.
Admin Switches and Role Limits
The toggle sits under Organization settings > Artifacts: enabled by default for Team, disabled for Enterprise, where custom roles can restrict who gets in.
Metered Like Any Other Action
claudemotion draws on your plan allowance, and a long or dense animation uses noticeably more than a single message would.
claudemotion Questions, Answered
Short answers on plan access, output style, where clips live and how exporting works.
Who gets access to claudemotion right now?
It is still in beta: Team workspaces have it switched on by default, while Enterprise owners enable it manually under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Will claudemotion produce lifelike footage?
No — photoreal scenes and people are outside its scope; it animates type, charts, shapes and images instead.
Where are my finished animations kept?
Each clip is filed in the Artifacts tab, ready to reopen and continue editing whenever you need it.
Can I update a single figure without redrawing everything?
Yes — change the one word, number or beat, and the rest of the claudemotion animation stays exactly where it was.
How do I export or share a finished clip?
Pick Export and then MP4 to download the file; new clips begin private, and Share lets other people open them.
Do these animations count toward my usage?
They do — claudemotion is metered against plan limits, and longer or denser animations consume more than an ordinary message.
Make Your First Animation with claudemotion
